In 2023, we will offer two bursaries with a value of $500 each—one bursary will support education/professional development in the field of eating disorders, and one bursary will support a research project in eating disorders. Further details about these bursary opportunities are available at here.
Sharon Hou: Recipient of the 2022 EDAC-ATAC Research Bursary

Dr. Hou is an early career researcher working in the Provincial Specialized Eating Disorders Program for Children and Adolescents at BC Children’s Hospital. Dr. Hou also holds a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Calgary. The focus of Dr. Hou’s research project is on equity and cultural responsiveness in workplace wellness of healthcare professionals working in a specialized eating disorders program.
