COVID-19 has led to a lot of changes in eating disorders programs across Canada. EDAC-ATAC would like to support members’ discussions about how their work has changed, and what changes may be here to stay. We will be sending out a Q&A to membership to feature some of the innovations that services have put in place, and to open up discussion about some of the challenges that have come up along the way.

We’d also like to use the forum as a place to share ideas and discussion.

EDAC-ATAC launched our webinar series in 2020 and it was a wonderful success. This year we have several exciting webinars planned.

The first will be on April 14 at 2pm EST by Dr. Ashley Pauls, titled “Psychological Characteristics and Childhood Adversity of Adolescents with Atypical AN vs AN”. Information on how to connect will be sent out prior to the webinar, and stay tuned for information on the other webinars coming up this year.

Hi everyone,
My colleague and I are putting together a presentation for our team on treating EDs in LGBTQ+ populations. We are just at the beginning of doing searches for articles and websites that would be useful. We think the presentation will focus on both creating LGBTQ+ friendly workplaces as well as evidence-informed treatment for LGBTQ+ individuals with EDs. Does anyone have any suggestions for sites, articles, resources we can check out?
